Signs, Signs: Falling coconuts

@ mirandablue
Stroll here at your own risk, or wear a helmet.
I walked under the coconut trees, no coconut fell on my head. I was lucky.  I guess somebody wasn't, so they put up this sign.
Seen at the grounds of Punta Bulata beach resort.

Midweek Blues: Window cleaners

@ mirandablue

I was having coffee in the pantry one afternoon when I noticed the window cleaners on the next tower.  It was a little breezy and their platforms were swaying.  I had a tingling sensation at the bottom of my feet!

Caviale Salmone Bianca at Cibo

@ mirandablue
It was almost closing time, and U and I were starving.  Cibo was about to close but we begged them for something quick.  Here's what we got---caviale salmone bianca, it's white pizza with evoo and cheese, topped with mozzarella, caviar, smoked salmon, and cream cheese chives. I love this pizza with a tasty twist but I wish there were more smoked salmon.

Ringworm Bush, Akapulko/Today's Flowers #32

Encountered this flower at the forest in Tayabas, Quezon province.  Locals call it Akapulko and it's known to have medicinal uses, according to a herbal site. Other names are ringworm bush, candle bush [Casia alata Linn., Senna alata].  It is an erect, shrubby legume found throughout the Philippines. It grows up to 6 feet tall, with dark green compound leaves. It has yellow-orange flowers that produce on average 50-60 small, triangular seeds. The leaves, flowers and seeds have very effective fungicidal properties for treating ringworm and other fungal infections of the skin.  Its laxative effect, due to its anthraquinone content, is also well proven.

Grissini di Pizza

@ mirandablue
Grissini di Pizza---freshly-baked garlic bread sticks with special cheese dip.  It's been a long while since I dined at Piadina in Greenbelt.  Met two friends here in late February, and the food was as good as I remembered.  We munched on these bread sticks while waiting for the main course.
