Dawn/ABC Wednesday

D is for Dawn

I was sitting in a coffee shop this morning daydreaming of this place where I  witnessed a beautiful dawn breaking.  I woke up to the gentle lapping of the waves, a rooster crowing at the distance signalling a new day.  Daylight barely touched my sleepy eyelids as I stood here, breathing in the still beauty of dawn---its pale light slowly illuminated the soft morning.  Dawn promises a new beginning where everything is possible.

Sleeping dog/Blue Monday

I followed the old adage "let sleeping dogs lie"---not a metaphorical dog but a  living, breathing black dog having a nap by the canoe.  I took a photo and kept my distance, in case he gets grumpy from interrupted sleep.:p

Sign @ Camayan Beach

A sign at Camayan Beach Resort & Hotel, one of the popular resorts in Subic Freeport.  I'm glad there are signs like this to remind people that this planet is not only for humans.
