No Trespassing/Signs

@ mirandablue
We were island-hopping the whole day and by late afternoon, we dropped anchor at Lahuy Island, a tiny island in the Caramoan peninsula.  Then we noticed this sign!  We didn't know some of the islands here are owned by private individuals---mostly by political clans, I learned later.  We expected to be kicked out but the the gentleman who lives here told us we can stay to enjoy the sunset and the beach, for free.

Dawn/ABC Wednesday

D is for Dawn

I was sitting in a coffee shop this morning daydreaming of this place where I  witnessed a beautiful dawn breaking.  I woke up to the gentle lapping of the waves, a rooster crowing at the distance signalling a new day.  Daylight barely touched my sleepy eyelids as I stood here, breathing in the still beauty of dawn---its pale light slowly illuminated the soft morning.  Dawn promises a new beginning where everything is possible.

Everyday Life Around The World: Light

@ mirandablue
A soft and warm morning light teased my sleepy eyes on that first morning in Caramoan.  My first sunrise in a long, long time.
