Mellow Yellow Monday: Tricycle

A tricycle on the street of Culion Island, the usual means of transportation in the island.  It can load up to 6 passengers, sometimes, even more.

Wishing you a great 2012!  Happy New Year!

I can just 'picture' the "even more than 6" on that tricycle. What a neat, cultural photo share. I love this kind.

The great thing of island life is no traffic lines like in Los Angeles! These tricycles are cute.

that's how "versatile" our tricycles are :) last night, as me and the hubs were driving home, we get to passed by a tricycle filled with teens, 4 inside, two on the back of the driver and 3 more on top of it. Whew! and, the worse, they have no "ilaws" at all.
Bless them...

We also have our tricycles here as our primary mode of transportation. It looks a lot different from your tricycles there though. I am a commuter so I get to have a trike ride day in and day out.
