Interesting - a film in sign language?!
Interesting that it is being remade with sign language. It makes you stop and think just how luck we are!
Certainly looks like an interesting movie. I guess this man is well-known in Filipino history?
Did you attend? In all honesty, I had never heard of him so did a search. It's astounding all that he accomplished in his far too short life!
hi, Halcyon! yes, Rizal is our national hero.
That is an interesting idea. I wonder why not subtitles?I also wonder about this sign that is in English for a film with a Spanish title that will be interpreted in Filipino Sign Language!
Now I'm wondering if sign language is the same in English and Spanish. Neat thought-provoking sign!
si piolo ba yan? cute noh?
I wonder how many different sign languages there are?
I am wondering, too. I will have to try to find the answer. Such a nice idea. genie
Fantastic! I'm curious to see how this whole interpretation will go - I hope the NHC will bring this film to other major cities of the Philippines for bigger audience reach.
How interesting! I watched many a video tape in sign language for my interpreting classes, but never a whole movie. I see that this is sponsored by the School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies. Did you know that sign language is different in different countries?
I remember my Spanish class ^_^Signs
I had to memorize Mi Ultimo Adios in college to pass my Spanish class!...region del sol querida!
Interesting capture. I am glad that it is being made in sign language in acknowledgement of the thousands of people who use it and view it as their "mother tongue".
Makes me want to count my blessings. Glad they're doing this.
