This orchid has totally taken over the tree at my aunt's front-yard.  I also noticed an army of red ants on stems and flowers.

My grandmother cultivated this herb in her garden when I was a kid.  Our scratches and bruises were treated by the juice extracted from lampunaya leaves.  Headaches, digestive problems, bronchitis, skin rashes are the common uses of the leaves.  Leaves are botched or colored, ovate, with toothed margins.
