Signs @ the Hot Air Balloon Festival

@ mirandablue
The Aviation Society of the Philippines celebrated the 100th year of Power Flight in the Philippines early this year.  There were also a series of lectures on the History of Philippine Aviation in mid-August.

The Kite Association of the Philippines was established in early 1990's by avid kite enthusiasts to revive, develop and promote the age-old Asian tradition of kite-making and kite-flying.

I have never flown a kite successfully! :( But this A Kite for Each Child seems to be interesting.

Those people in the first sign seem very happy!
We don't see too many kites where I am, which is rather sad. I never was very good at it when I was young, either, but it always looks so neat to see them up in the air.

I don't see kites like I use to , it probably because everything is built up and there's no place to fly them anymore!

I like their goal of providing a Kite for Every Kid. Lovely to get kids outside and looking up and having fun!
