First sight.
Empty swing
moving back then forth, slow.
giggles
Innocent juvenile laughter
legs high in the air
swing in, then out
arms out
embracing the world
creak, squeak
hear the noises of childhood memories
falling leaves like a release of a swing
slowing down--back to today
flying from the seat
empty swing
moving back, then forth, slow.

The swings remind me of our annual May carnival we had at my school when we were growing up. Those were fun times....
Wonderful words and awesome swing shots. But it's not for me, it makes me dizzy :)
It's the presence of children that makes places like this fun and alive. without them, it's sad and empty.
The verses goes so nicely with the photo. :)
Unusual swings, like on an amusement park ride. The poetry goes nicely with the swings and emptiness of the park.
nice shots of the resting swings. :)
