Midweek Blues: Blue canoe

@ mirandablue
For hundreds of years, a banca (or outrigger canoe) is a means of water transport in and around the Philippine archipelago.  This banca is paddled and primarily used for fishing by local fishermen.  Big motorized bancas are used to haul cargo and bring passengers to and from the islands.

Hi Luna ~~ I like your blue banca. I am wondering then if they were generally painted in bright colors or if this one is special. I note it is full of some type of cargo.
Happy MidWeek Blues,

Picture in stillness it sets your mind to imagining the people using it for fishing. It looks small to be a fishing boat.
