The future is promised to no one.
I guess this is the historic end of the historic hot rides...or something like that. :)
It seems like everything is being taken over by high rises. Good play ;)
I love old weathered singnage like this and hate to see so much of it disappearing! It looks like these gates might date back to the late sixties...good that you got this photo since that's all will be left of them...:)
Am glad to see the faded old sign is still in use even if the business is out of business. I think it is pretty impressive. Genie
Those hot rods are history!
I wonder what a Hot Ride is :)
It looks like Hot Rides has been history for a long time.
Interesting old sign - with that different "S"!I enlarged the photo and see there is a man sitting on that girder!
Cool sign, it has lots of character. It's a shame it will soon go away.
Interesting sign..great photo selection:)
wow, there really is a man up there! Shobe (little brother)...must be owned by Chinese...
I was going to say these painters of hot historic cars forgot to paint their own gate, but then I saw they were history... :-D
How sad that this beautiful sign may soon be a part of the history it advertised. Sigh. How wonderful that you got a picture of it before it was gone!!!After reading through the comments, I went back to the picture and sure enough - there is a man up there on the girder! What a wonderful shot!
