Street Signs

These signs are a few meters away from each other, taken on the same deserted street near Triboa Bay in Subic Bay Freeport Zone.  Four roads meet at this junction---I hope these signs help prevent accidents at this crossroad.

And yet, no octagonal red stop sign?!

In my part of the world most drivers treat a stop sign as a yield sign. Lack of enforcement makes it possible.

I guess a few accidents have happened her in the past.

what lesley is referring to is the red octagonal road sign signifying it's a four-way stop. i don't remember seeing that back home before.

I hope they get the message!

There must have been a lot of accidents there in the past!

I agree with Lesley I think the Public Highways forget to put the most important sign the octagonal red stop sign. Thanks for sharing Luna.

It does seem odd to see a sign declaring a dangerous intersection!

I hope the scenery isn't so distracting that the signs are missed by the drivers.

Anyone who hit that tree would soon be stopped.

here in NJ we have the 'rolling stop' where drivers really never stop they just slow down
I live at the end of a street that most people consider a one way with no traffic so no one stops at our corner which makes it very dangerous
I don't know that signs matter to folks who think they're above caring about the safety of others
