That is pretty cool find. Me and my siblings used to put salt underneath the snails and they just fall from the wall they are hanging. Looking back I think we are mean kids to the snails ^_^

@ Ann, my mom confirmed this is a Japanese snail, brought here by the Japanese during WW II. i didn't know this is edible.
