H is for Heliconia

Heliconia blossoms, also called Lobster Claws, at the edge of the rainforest in Sibulan, Negros Oriental.  Hummingbirds are the main pollinators of  Heliconia  It is named after Mount Helicon, the seat of the Muses, the nine goddesses of arts and sciences in Greek mythology.

  11. Akala ko birds of paradise - lol. That goes to show how limited my knowledge is when it comes to flora and fauna.
Luna, Cebu Pacific now flies from Mla-Siem Reap, watch out for the fares there. Also, I heard AirAsia will have one from Cebu to Siem Reap as well - abangan. You might even score a great deal for an Indochina! Good luck and let me know, okey? ^.^
