Triboa Bay/Signs

Triboa Bay is a small community within the Subic Freeport Economic Zone, a former US naval base, overlooking Subic Bay. There are 21 villas here originally built to accommodate world leaders who attended the 1996 ASEAN Summit.  There is also a clubhouse with swimming pool which looked dilapidated.  The villas are now for sale/lease.

Sometimes I am wary of the use of international cuisine. It's a mish mash of different cuisine, would end up like a buffet :)

the times, they are a'changing! I wonder how the villas look? If they were meant to accommodate world leaders, they can't be all bad, right?

@ Pat, the villas aren't bad at all--they're 2-storeys 4 to 5-bedrooms mediterranean style villas. the furnishings are also high-end--some were imported from the US, like Bakers and McGuire, according to a friend who was one of the interior designers. but the villas were not properly maintained...it's usually the case here when it's a government-owned property.
