A row of this coconut hybrid shields the beach resort from southwest winds. This coconut species is about 15 feet tall, a dwarf compared to the common coconut trees found in the Philippines. The meat and water are very sweet.

Love this yellow coconut. I saw it for the first time in Mexico this winter.
I love coconuts. During my months of living in India, I always get them from the vendors. Once I've recovered from my total shoulder replacement and welcome my first grandchild who is due April 21, I'll be returning to India. Hopefully, by June 1.

I've never heard of a golden coconut. Hmmmm, thanks to you, I learned something new.
I did not know that a coconut could be gold! They almost look like chunky lemons! Great photo!
