“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the
source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a
stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as
good as dead: his eyes are closed.” ~ Albert Einstein

Beautiful photos! We call it Sunset Bells. Mine have finished flowering and getting ready to go underground.
the first time I've seen this plant; very tropical it seems
interesting flowers, and is that a bee I see? and your 'flower art' is lovely, though I personally prefer SOCC...the Spence quote is wonderful!
Oh yeah, I adore your header photo...are those a type of water lily?
Beautiful, I love the colors.
beautiful flower and the name? wow...
Your pictures are beautiful! Thanks for visiting. Have a nice week end!

Thanks, Luna!
First time I've seen this.
Double Hibiscus
i'm curious how big or small the blooms are.
Beautiful flowers! I haven't seen this kind before.
Pretty and unique. Ngayon lang ata ako nakakita nito.
it is even more coppery after your editing. It looks great. :)
Lovely pictures! Mine are also going strong at the moment!
Great shot of flowers.
Very pretty.
Very, very pretty! I love the art-type effect you have added and thank you very much for sharing it with Today's Flowers.
The flowers are very beautiful and I also love the leaves. Thanks for visiting mine and to answer your question, rose of sharon is the common name for the variety of hibiscus in my photographs. This type of hibiscus has much smaller flowers than some hibiscus but it comes back outside in my climate while the tropical varieties of hibiscus aren't as hardy where I live.
Love the plants and your pictures!!
A lovely flower and shot!
Both quotes give one pause to stop and think.
I adore working with textures so I really like the second picture. Beautiful with or without the addition, but the texture adds such a wonderful touch. genie
I like the edited version!
Visiting from Today's flower. Come and see my Rose
