If you remember a light aircraft that crashed in Paranaque in early December, it was more or less a kilometer away from GoodAh. I was on my way home when it happened and the traffic was just horrible. GoodAh was a lifesaver---I was having this Goto while firetrucks and ambulances rushed to the scene of the crash.
Goto is a Filipino version of Congee, it has tripe, pork cracklings, ginger, fried garlic, boiled egg and green onions. I had tokwa't baboy as a side dish.

Looks like a great savior for a hungry stomach especially when one is stuck in a traffic. :)
Thanks for the visit and comment on my entry, sis.
Have a nice Tuesday!
Food quote rin today. :)
super miss ko ang Pinoy goto, rice soup here in Thailand's different. that looks so delicious. visiting late from FTF, see you around. thanks and have a great week. :)
Yes, Luna, I've joined Food Trip Friday, too! hehehe ...
Anyway, I never liked goto, or congee, or lugaw ... until recently, like when I moved here in Panglao.
I was a sickly child and was fed lugaw ... plain. I hated it. I guess, I made a lot of effort to recover quickly so as to avoid eating more lugaw. But champorado, ginataang mais and ginataang monggo I love to this day.
However, these days, I eat congee with much delight :)
Favorite ko ang GOTO sa GOODAH. Brings so much fun memories. Kumakain kami doon after gumimik.
