Moth Orchid, Phalaenopsis/Today's Flowers #46

Phalaenopsis, Moth orchids
An orchid genus of approximately 60 species.  The flowers of some species resemble moths in flight, the reason why the species are sometimes called Moth orchids.

    Beautiful flowers Luna -- you take wonderful pictures! The fish (in the post below) made me hungry, even though I just finished a good dinner! And I loved the 'worth of a tree" sign . (As you can tell, I'm catching up).

    The white ones, we call them North Borneo Orchid in Sarawak, my dad grew them.

    Nice shots. I think they are the most common Orchid here. They have to be kept inside during the winter.
